I am currently an Associate Editor for Physical Review Letters, the flagship journal published by the American Physical Society. My primary responsibility is to oversee the peer review process and decide which papers merit publication according to the journal's criteria. I have occasionally written synopses for the online journal Physics, which can be found here. Also check out our recent collection Transuranium Elements and the Physical Review.
My research interests are primarily in high energy QCD and the phenomenology of ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions. My research articles can be found on inSPIRE.
I am also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Farmingdale State College where I occasionally teach courses in Fluid Dynamics and Thermodynamics.
Prior to becoming an Editor I held postdoctoral research positions in the nuclear theory groups at North Carolina State University and Brookhaven National Laboratory. I received my Ph.D. from Stony Brook University and my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union.
